Jens Benn Sørensen

Jens Benn Sørensen has a special interest in thoracic oncology and a research focus on medical oncology in lung cancer and in malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM). He serves as Board Member of the Danish Lung Cancer Group and is Chairman of the Danish Mesothelioma Group. Dr Sørensen has previously served as Board Member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) and is a current member. He is the author of more than 200 papers published in indexed peer-reviewed international journals and he has been an invited speaker to several national and international oncology meetings. Dr Sørensen is also recipient of the European Award for Achievement in the field of non-small cell lung cancer in 2012.
